A Message from Amanda:

“I have been taking old furniture and giving it new life for a couple of years now and I am very passionate about my work! It is a very fun, relaxing, and rewarding process and in the end you come out with a beautiful and one-of-a-kind masterpiece to be proud of! While it may take practice to master the art of refinishing furniture, you will fall in love with doing it with your first piece! I am here to lead you in the right direction and jump start your own passion, or at least give you a fun project!

I will be demonstrating what pieces are best to work on, how to prep them for refinishing-sanding, touch ups, fixing drawers, touching up or replacing hardware, and setting up paint! I also will give some ideas/teach how to clear wax for protection and dark wax for detail/antiquing. I will show how to distress furniture heavily or lightly to your liking! I will also show you how to make a chalkboard with a frame and share other crafty furniture ideas! Pinterest will come to life in this class!

I look forward to meeting everyone and painting some awesome pieces!”
